I was seen in the same day per an urgent request with concerns for my 9 year old canine. The reception front desk staff, nurses were positive with very welcoming feel. Dr Bishop was a good listener and I felt he really wanted to hear my concerns and opinions about the recommended care. I will be coming back for the dental treatment and feel confident and safe to proceed. Great experience, finally think I have a match to my two precious furry babies, thank you Dr Bishop and Staff 🙂

I met with Dr. Bishop for the first time this week and he was delightful…very knowledgeable and reassuring about my concerns regarding Miss Cinnamon’s health. We love Coastal Animal Hospital and despite our move, we are making the 60 mile round-trip to continue to receive the high level of experience and commitment provided by their professional staff.

I’m so fortunate to have found Dr. Evans and his team 4 years ago for our Weimareiner Astro. They’ve taken great care of him and even sent us pictures before and post his dental work. It totally shows how much they care and it put us at ease.
Coastal Animal Hospital was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about my Great Dane’s needs. It is tough to find a vet that has knowledge and experience with large breeds, specifically Great Danes. Dr. Evans was great with Peanut and explained her lap spay and gastropexy so even I was able to understand what was going on! Everyone that I came in contact with at Coastal Animal Hospital really seemed to love what they do; they care about the animals that they are entrusted. I am very glad that I found Coastal Animal Hospital!

It is always a difficult decision to make…entrusting the welfare of your dog (AKA your baby) to people that you don’t know. But after meeting Dr. Evans and the rest of his veterinary staff at Coastal Animal Hospital, I felt confident that my baby was in not only skilled but caring hands. Dr. Evans took the time to answer ALL of my questions without hesitation in an honest and open manner. They kept me updated on my dog’s progress the entire time she was in their care via pictures and phone. My large female (Burnese/Swiss MD) dog came home remarkably unaffected by her laparoscopic surgery. After this experience, I will never have a dog “spayed” in the traditional manner again. I can’t say enough about the level of care, professionalism and warmth offered by the entire staff at Coastal Animal Hospital! What a great experience!

Coastal Animal Hospital has taken great care of our cats. The doctors, techs and schedulers are all helpful, kind, patient and truly caring with our cats. Awesome! Took our new puppy to Coastal based on good feedback from a neighbor and location. Dr. Bishop was super nice and thorough, he even called me on a Saturday to report routine test results. Other staff are also very friendly and you don’t feel like you’re being given a pet care sales pitch like at some vets. Our pup was happy and unafraid even after shots. Will be visiting them for all our pet care going forward. Thanks!
The veterinary care offered by Coastal Animal Hospital is superior. Drs. Evans and Bishop are thorough, compassionate, attentive to pet owner concerns, and in every way professional. The entire staff, from front desk personnel to registered veterinary technicians, is positive, personable, and of the highest caliber. Further, the hospital is managed ably and maintained in Bristol condition. All is tip top at Coastal Animal Hospital.
Compassionate and kind staff. I always feel comfortable bringing my dog here. Everyone is very professional but incredibly kind and I know that they care for the well-being of my pet, and not the bill that I am paying. My dog and I get the best service from check-in to scheduling our follow up appointments and I feel totally safe asking any and all questions. I will be returning to this clinic.
Great experience as always! The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Jake loves his trips to the vet to have his nails trimmed and ears checked. I have had a number of vet offices in years past and this is definitely the best office and group of staff I have experienced.
Our annual check up with Dr. Bishop was great. Always a caring staff that takes time to hear you out and provide the best direction forward for you and your pups. I appreciate that the doctor wasn’t in a rush and really listened to all the feedback we provided. We trust Coastal Animal Hospital and would recommend anyone bring their babies here.
Even after moving 40 minutes away (each way) I would never change vets. They love my girls and treat us like a family.
We always feel welcome when arriving and never wait too long to be seen by the vet. When a problem arises with either pet we know we’re in good hands no matter which doctor we see. Appointments are informative, to-the-point, and I leave feeling reassured that my fur baby will be okay. Fees are reasonable and competitive with the surrounding area, worth every penny. Thank you Coastal Animal Hospital team!

Thank you kindly! My utmost compliments to all of you, you fantastic, utmost professional, easygoing, thorough owner(s) and staff; and the environment you provide. I simply cannot rate you all and the experience I had today highly enough. The cool, beachy vibes your fine establishment oozes like the ebb and flow of even-tide waves, one cannot help but bathe in it; be immersed in its sunshine evevesence. My cat, Twain, and I both forgot we were in a medical facility, because, essentially, we’re not. We’re at a spa by the beach being taken care of by the crème de la crème. Once again, words do not suffice to properly convey how truly wonderful you all are.

Dr. Bishop was very friendly and informative. His advice was in my dog’s best interest and it was very helpful in determining the best time to spay her.
I took my dog Zeus to see Dr. Evans for a second opinion for something that I thought was going to be bad news. It was the opposite. Dr. Evans and his staff gave Zeus and I the best news possible and could not have been nicer or more compassionate. I highly recommend this office for your fur friends and I will never be able to thank them enough.
I had a very good experience with all staff and the vet! They answered all the questions i had regarding my dog, did a thorough check up including asking me questions about my dog all with out rushing through the visit.
I am always impressed with our visits from the call to make the appointment to seeing the doctor..Everyone is gracious and prompt.
